Hi
I've connected my pc to an LG TV via hdmi and now I want to go back to my monitor.
The only way to get signal to my monitor is by extending these two displays via windows...
Then a see my desktop on my tv and the extension on the monitor...
To see my desktop on the monitor i'm selecting my monitor as primary display and now my monitor shows the desktop and the tv is the extension.
My monitor now has a blurry image.
So,to fix it i thought i had to disable the TV completely and that was my primary goal from the beginning anyway...
To disable it i selected show desktop only on display 2(monitor) but when i did that my monitor gave me the "out of range" message and now i cant disable completely my TV
How can i do it?

The blurry image is most often caused by bad scaling. Think of a tiny picture with 3x3 pixels and you want to stretch it to fit in in your tiny theoretical monitor with 4x4 pixels. It won't add exactly and you can't stretch pixels. So to counter it the monitor shows some pixels twice. No way that can ever be sharp. Some monitors and most TVs leave black bars around the picture. That's sharp again but small. To avoid these issues, you need to pick a resolution that's native to your monitor/TV For example full-HD is 1920x1080. You can't clone an image to two screens with different resolutions without again having issues.

What you should do is go back to the settings, enable both displays and set the native resolution for each. Then go back and forth between the displays by pressing Windows key and P on your keyboard simultaneously. It toggles between Monitor only, Clone in both, Extend to both, TV only. To avoid issues it's best to use Only one display at once.

That's what i'm trying...to use one display... but when i'm trying to disable my TV my monitor gets signal and shows the "out of range" message

I tried the win+p method end  still this happens

What is your graphics card.

Which ports are your displays (including TV) plugged into?
