computer wont stay running

i have a xfx 1250 power supply its about 3 years old. just about a month ago i went to shut my computer off and turn it back on the next morning and it wouldnt turn on i unpluged it from the wall and pluged it back in and it did turn on but as soon as i turn it off it will not turn back on for about 5 minutes im not really sure what is wrong with it. also my computer is very unstable i need some help with what i should do!

no i just reformated everything to stock

Power reset delays tend to be caused by the time it takes for a large capacitor to discharge. So it probably is a PSU fault. Got another you can try?

no i dont not at the moment. i have another computer that i dont use and i hooked it up to that and it did work and powered on and off when i wanted it to. i sent my motherboard in to see if maybe somthing was wrong with it but it seems there wasent
