I plan on getting the Corsair Air 240 case(https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011070ww) and I would like to light up the inside. The two options I have thought of are to get led fans, or a led light strip. Which would be better? For the led strip, I was looking at something like this http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812170027&cm_re=led-_-12-170-027-_-Product Would like it to be as cheap as possible. And for the colors, either white or red.

If your wanting single color LED's I would recommend ones from Addon Customs or Modguru they tend to give better more even lighting than those which are more spotlight type lights.

Im on mod guru atm, but what do you think is a good cable length, and led size? I really new to this stuff so I have no idea what is a good size.

Usuaully I find two 30cm LED strips are good for most cases to get even lighting, some larger cases a 30-60cm strip may benefit it, cable length mainly depends where you will route to get power but a 30-50cm long power wire is good for most.

One thing to note is if your going to use RGB LED's it does require a controller to switch between lighting modes/colors where single color ones don't require anything more than power.
