Hello I need help choosing the parts for my new pc, this is my first time building one so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Budget is : $1000 usd

I would like it mostly for Gaming/Streaming. The part I'm having the most trouble with is the cpu, since i don't know which one would be best for like streaming and such. I was looking at the following ones: 6700/K,6500,Xeon E3-1231,i7-4790K. I'm not really sure if I would overclock to so that's another thing, i'm not sure how difficult it is. Any Help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

This is my current build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($193.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI Z170A PC MATE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($109.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($95.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB Nitro Video Card  ($289.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($63.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $1000.72

Your build looks fine to me.

Just please get a SeaSonic psu. My suggestion G series +80 Gold ones.

Just plan avoid the CX and GS psu series!

Just do, just please do...

P.s. I have a cool build list that has overclocking and silence in mind if you wish to see it.

looks alright

you could save a few bucks with an h170 board, and also finding a cheaper SSD  but the build is well balanced.

Okay thanks for the suggestions. Regarding the CPU how would the 6500 compare to the 4790K with streaming in mind?

the 4790k would be better due to hyper threading. but if your just streaming some games to you tube or on twitch I would stick to the 6500.  If your doing content creation in a largerscale I would go with the 4790k

@Bird123

It would beat by A LONG SHOT.

But.

Here is a $1,200 build that has overclocking and silence in mind (silence part comes handy when recording/streaming.)

The case I have in this build list is a very unique, the Thermaltake V21. I highly suggest you look it up!

If you like this build list and want to do it please contact me on private message and I'll tell you how I think you should set it up since the case is so unique.

Whats wrong with the GS psu series?

They like to use lower quality components from OME's. Just use Seasonic, they are the best. Been in business since 1970's just doing PSU's, and they dont use OME's.

How much of a difference is there between the 6500 and the 6600. Since if I changed the board to the h170, and get G.Skill RipJaws 4 I have extra room and I could get a 6600.

@Bird123

Well take a look at my build list and see what you think. I'm using the 6600 so you can overclock with a liquid cooler. Also I have silence in mind which would be handy since you're streaming and recording.
