CPU Choices

Go to solution Solved by GalacticRuler,

Q6600? Then you won't have to change your mobo.

Hello,

I've recently purchased a GTX 750ti for my up-and-coming entry-level gaming rig. However, it seems that I have made a small error, as it has seemed to bottleneck my CPU. So, basically, my question is this ; how far up the Intel CPU tech-tree do I have to go before the bottleneck effect is non-existent?

EDIT : My previous processer was a Pentium E5200. Ancient.
