what to look for?

so i found this amazing deal in Austria: Gtx 980 reference design for 410 €. the Problem is ist second Hand ... he said he used it for testing and doesn't Need it anymore... it's 2 weeks old he Claims and he doesn't have a bill or the box it came in.
What should i be taking a Close eye on when picking it up ? should i ask him to let me test it?

Well, I wouldn't buy a graphics card that is two weeks old without any bill or guaranteed warranty. But if  you want to buy it you should ask him if you can test it.

No receipt no sale TBH.  You'll need it for warranty.  If he's not giving you the things you need for a warranty claims, you're gonna have to ask him to lower the price much lower cos it could be a dead card or a card that might die fairly early.

 

Test it on his PC with Furmark and a 3D Mark run.  If there were problems before, it would manifest on his pc.

don't buy it if you can't test it

go to his home or make him come to you and test it
