Well.. Long story short I decided I wanted to use my PS2. I don't, however, have a TV in this room and I prefer using the actual hardware compared to emulation. As such, I purchased an adapter to hook up the PS2 via HDMI. What happens, however, is slightly odd. The monitor is constantly displaying "Out of Range", which would imply that it can't interpret the video signal due to being too low of a resolution. However, this message is being displayed overtop of an otherwise fine video signal.

On top of this, since it's "out of range", I can't get the 4:3 signal to NOT stretch to 21:9.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I tested this connection on someone else's display. Crystal clear and no issues. It's just my LG 34um65

This is what I'm meaning. The game shows, I can't get it to not stretch, and I can't get the "Out Of Range" message to go away. o.0
