So a acquaintance on facebook says looking for a tablet for her grand kid to enjoy while he is over.

She is looking for a good one for him to play games, watch youtube and such on wifi.

She got recommended a Samsung 10 inch by people at Walmart I'm assuming it was this which I found on sale.

I really don't know much about tablets to recommend. I own a Xoom tablet I bought when first came out to replace a Celeron Vista for my college work and then I have an iPad 2 that I got due to a broke screen which I replaced ... and broke a year later still need to replace screen again.

Also in the US for deal recommendations.

I recommend the Nexus 9 and don't regret buying it because of the long battery life (along with good performance and a good screen).

You can search the same review site for other tablets like the Nvidia Shield and the iPad.
