You can find new direct from Lenovo for $800~ (I paid $850 from Lenovo.com during one of their semi-regular sales).

And considering refurbs can be found for $725~ every now and then, I'd say it's safe to sell near that mark.

*EDIT*

Speaking of near $700,

There you go.... One that sold for $700 shipped this past month, as I said, lol.

4K UHD model selling for $800 right now on [H] as well that has 16GB if you were to attempt to counter with "but that only has 8GB".

I was hoping $900 maybe $950 would be fair

I edited my post :) The 4K one selling for $800 does have 16GB. That extra RAM won't amount to much when you try to resell, just a forewarning.

And here, this is the Touch model that has 4GB 860M and 16GB ram for $800,

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1855684&highlight=y50

My whole point is, these sell used for $700 - $800 and can be had new for $800 - $950, and the Touch model for $150 more. So unless you found someone that does little to no research, you won't be getting anywhere near $1,000, and I don't think you'd ever sell it at $900 unless, again, someone simply doesn't research anything they buy.

Uh 8gb of ram is like 40 bucks new and will not add $150 dollars of value. these go for new Often cheap sales under $1000  id say fair for both parties is around 700 in my own opinion i wouldnt personally buy this unless it was Around 650 for a new one seeing as id want at least 25% off for a used product
