Hello,

Third question for today :D. Anyway I was wondering is 1440p really worth it for my setup currently? I play CSGO competitively and see no one playing at 1440p, all 1080p or below. So I'm guessing 1440p isn't the best for competitive gaming. I would be getting the same monitor (144hz 1ms 24") just ones is 1440p/1080p. I also fell that 1440p in a couple of years will be harder to run, due to the new games being released.

Thanks

Might add this later...

A game such as CS:GO would not warrant an upgrade in resolution.  Some, more hardcore players will attest to the benefits of 144hz.  However, you may not appreciate the higher refresh rate if you're a casual gamer.

I recently upgraded to 1440p.  This was mainly for productivity, as I tend to have many windows open.  in this regard, the difference was mind-blowing.

I also game casually, and mostly prefer RPGs such as the Witcher 3.  Unfortunately, I can't afford to upgrade my card at the moment, so I must resort to playing at about medium (some better optimized games can still run at high settings).  Nonetheless, the increase in pixel count (imo) is more stunning than running a game on ultra settings.  The crispness of the image is breathtaking -- I could only imagine what the games I play would look like at 4K!
