I want to have a LAN party with some friends, there will be around 10 people. I was wondering if there is any way for us to LAN gaming without Internet access but just directly wiring into a switch or a hub that could connect all of our computers? If so how would I go about this? Thanks!

I'd recommend for simplicity, just connecting all the computers using a hub to ethernet in the house.  It's the simplest way and is what I and my family uses for daily use on all computers.

I am not sure how to set up what you mentioned though, I imagine your friends wanting Internet for whatever their reasons.

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

Yes you can use any hub or switch. Highly recomend a switch as they are incredibly cheap and you really shouldn't be using a hub for anything, ever.

So would I just hook every computer up to the switch and it should work or do I need to set something up with Windows or a third party software?

Yes it should work just fine. If they are all windows devices you shouldn't have any issues but having one device acting as a DHCP server can make things simpler. If you are setting things up in an environment where there is already an existing network connection just hook the switch up the the router and everything should go just fine.
