Bad Headset Decisions, Help?

So I just bought the Logitech G933 Wireless headset yesterday and I'm already sorely disappointed.

My rant:

To start off with, they're generally uncomfortable. They're heavy and make my head sore while the ear cuffs are almost scratchy. The microphone was a selling point for me because it sounded better then the other headsets I was looking at and the fact that it was retractable was a big deal to me.. but it's stiff and takes a two handed effort to maneuver. The sound isn't that great, I almost prefer my $8 ear buds to be completely honest.. almost. Also, the fact that I can't even touch or pick up my headset without pressing a G button or move the volume rocker makes me hate those features. And you know what REALLY grinds my gears? If I'm not actively listening to something for 5 minutes, it goes to sleep. There isn't an option to disable this aggravating feature. The lighting effects are cool, but completely unnecessary, I guess I'd only use it if I were taking a picture of my setup. In conclusion, I'm currently looking for another headset before returning this one.

Also, not this is Logitech's fault but I need a closed back headset to prevent sound leaking to my boyfriend who sits right next to me at his battlestation. These aren't and it's probably my fault for thinking they were. That alone is probably a deal breaker in my situation.

So, I need help. I was looking into getting the Sennheiser Game Zero's but the mic seems to pick up a lot of breath from what I've seen from reviews and it's also been mentioned I should spend another $100+ on an amp/odac. I'm not a hardcore audiophile and maybe but probably not going to be a streamer.. I just want a nice sound headset with a microphone that isn't annoying. I don't want a modmic because one cord is annoying enough. I don't completely understand standing or mounted mics.. they seem like they'd be annoying to always have to be in my face, way or view, but I'm not completely close minded to the option.

I guess it would be good to mention I'd be using this for gaming, I guess the most sound demanding game would be CSGO or possibly BO3 if I start hearing better things about FPS.. and of course Netflix and YouTube or general web browsing. Like I said I'm not going to be using these for streaming and I'm not an audiophile but I am willing to spend a pretty penny for something that works/sounds nice.

If you have any recommendations for a headset or any other non-annoying solution please help. I guess I'd be willing to spend $300 on the whole getup, but that can vary.

Well, now you know at least. As far as the Sennies picking up breathe, if you are a heavy breather, you need to adjust your own personal health including learning how to properly inhale and exhale in 4second increments. Don't know what else to say about that honestly, lol.

The PC350, 360, and G4ME One all worked great for me, but I of course also use push to talk. If I were trying to get into "pro" streaming, I'd buy an AT2020 USB+ to keep at a decent distance away, not a headset mic. And an external dac/amp are not necessary with the G4ME One, just as they are not necessary for the HD598, does it help? Sure, but will they work great without spending anything extra? You bet they will.

Not "breath" but you'll notice in this review when he talks it picks up what I'm talking about:

Is that what you did? Is there anyway I can hear yours?

I don't have any Sennies left, in fact, I don't have any headsets left in my collection. Recently sold off my last 2 Sennie headphones so I'm down to a smaller collection.

I had a foam windscreen that I used on all my headsets though, I think I picked it up at Guitar Center a looooong time ago.

Yea that's what you'd want. I'm surprised Monoprice doesn't have any.

Just make sure the dimensions are right for the mic boom tip.

For crying out loud.

The DT 990 is open back.

For starters no need to get so shirty. Secondly, I was reccomended these by multiple people when I asked for closed back reccomendations, so I was just spreading info that I had been given.

There is also no "need"  to recommend wrong information. So, deal.

Just for next time, remeber to do your own research if you're going to try to help people.
