I uploaded a screenshot of an example MSI Afterburner setup. What I would do is increase the 'Core Clock' by about 100 MHz, and maybe the 'Memory Clock' by 200 MHz. I would then test for stability by running some sort of GPU stress tester (maybe the one included with Afterburner). You should be looking for things like black or white dots and/or screen tearing (If you don't know what this is, then just google it). If you are getting these types of things, increase the voltage by a minuscule amount and try it again. Keep doing this until you reach the core clock that you desire with the lowest voltage possible. Having a lower voltage will increase the lifespan of your card.

If you want a guide for testing stability, you can see my Guide for Thoroughly Testing System Stability here: http://linustechtips.com/main/forum/...stem-stability

You should probably read through the whole thing, but if you are only interested in the GPU stability testing part, scroll down until you see "Step 2: GPU Stability Testing with 3DMark 11".

In this guide, I used 3D Mark 11 as an example, but there are plenty of other GPU stress testing programs out there that work just as well.

Like I said above, if you don't get artifacts on your screen (black/white spots or screen tearing), then you don't need to adjust voltage. If you don't want to adjust the voltage, I would bring the core clock down until you stop getting the artifacts.

Well if you are happy with the results then you can stop...or you can overvolt and push a little further.

If your game crashes, then probably you have overclocked it too far and is now unstable. Try running Heaven benchmark and look for artefacts. If there are artefacts, then you would need to lower your clock speed in order to make your game more stable. Did you try reinstalling the drivers because the drivers might be corrupted. What drivers are you using?
