Help with first build

I am trying to put together a build for under $950 (USD) using amazon as my site to purchase parts off of. I dont need a mouse/keyboard or windows, but I do need a monitor. The purpose of this build is to game (mostly CS:GO, CoD, Fall out 4 and games like that) as well as light Photoshop work. I was leaning towards a 970, but I am a little lost and would like some help.

I would also order off Newegg and NCIX US just to save some money.

Any reason why you went with the 4690k and not the 4660? (not judging I am curious.)

Would the Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Black Gaming Computer Case Galaxy-03 be a suitable replacement for the case you put?

Csgo requires a special build of it's own, so you can incorporate a good monitor. Hold on, I'll make list. In the meantime, any color preference?
