Hi, After spending a day on the internet I have finally finalized this build. I am going to be doing gaming, streaming, editing, rendering and 3D modeling. This is the build:

Let me know what you think! Thanks :D

Also if you could recommend a CPU cooler that will fit in this case that I might be able to go a bit of overclocking out of that would be absolutely awesome! Thanks again!

If you don't want to OC, get a Xeon 1231v3 and a H97/B85 motherboard. Same performance for less.

The CRYORIG C1 CPUcooler would be great here.

Get an SSD at some point.

If gaming, a GPU upgrade at some point would beneficial.

Other than these, great.

Project White Lightning (My ITX Gaming PC): Core i5-4690K | CRYORIG H5 Ultimate | ASUS Maximus VII Impact | HyperX Savage 2x8GB DDR3 | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB | WD Black 1TB | Sapphire RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX | Corsair AX760 | LG 29UM67 | CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | HyperX Cloud II | Logitech Z333

Benchmark Results: 3DMark Firestrike: 10,528 | SteamVR VR Ready (avg. quality 7.1) | VRMark 7,004 (VR Ready)

Other systems I've built:

Core i3-6100 | CM Hyper 212 EVO | MSI H110M ECO | Corsair Vengeance LPX 1x8GB DDR4  | ADATA SP550 120GB | Seagate 500GB | EVGA ACX 2.0 GTX 1050 Ti | Fractal Design Core 1500 | Corsair CX450M

Core i5-4590 | Intel Stock Cooler | Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI | HyperX Savage 2x4GB DDR3 | Seagate 500GB | Intel Integrated HD Graphics | Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 | be quiet! Pure Power L8 350W

I am not a professional. I am not an expert. I am just a smartass. Don't try and blame me if you break something when acting upon my advice.

What about this cooler? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-cpu-cooler-h60cw9060007ww If you have a 120mm fan you can replace the stock one with, then this cooler will be good for you.

Thanks, do you know if this would fit in the case?

I don't like it.

You're going for the most powerful LGA1150 i7 along with R9 280, you have no SSD, PSU with no spare wattage if you ever want to upgrade your GPU (550-600 would be nicer), and you've got 2x4GB, which means you'll have to replace both modules if you'll ever want to install 16 GB - I'd go for 1x8 instead.

If that was my build I'd go: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/mcKyMp

As far as the cooler is concerned - I don't know the case, so I've got nothing. ;)

He's going to be doing more than just gaming, so having a powerful CPU is important for him. The R9 280 is a good mid-range graphics card, and since he's going to be streaming, he won't be playing at more than 1080p.

In terms of RAM, I think he should have gotten 16gb. 3D rendering is very RAM intensive, and the extra 8gb would help in this case.

Thanks for that, appreciate it I will consider more RAM and a maybe a better GPU in the future, thanks again man :D

Yeah this would be great but I need it in the SFX form factor for the case: D

There is not a lot of room in the case. Max cpu cooler height is 80mm. http://www.overclock.net/t/1466816/silverstone-raven-rvz01-rvz02-ml07-ml08-ftz01-owners-club/110, post #119 suggests that some 120mm AIO will fit, depending on their tubes.

IMO the case is not a good choice for an overclocked i7-4790K system.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

How about this one? Same price as the one you chose, and 80+ Gold. http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256116&cm_re=sfx_power_supply-_-17-256-116-_-Product
