Is the SSD good for the price? and a good build overall to run 1080p, 60 fps, high settings on most game? (Battlefront, Fallout 4, etc.)

the SSD will make a big big difference to how your machine boots, and if you have a game installed on it, the boot-up will be uber quick. Will it play games better and effect FPS ... not really.

 

Given you should run windows off the SSD, buy a really good one, its worth it

Yeah my budget is kinda limited. I was thinking to only put windows and important applications on the SSD for faster boot times. Is a 120gb SSD enough?

Thats what I use, two partitions of 60gbs each. Plenty of room for Windows on one and a few choice games on the other ...

With that 4460 and an r9 390 you should play most modern games comfortably.

i manage with 128gb ssd as my boot drive. the computer boots up soooooooo fassstttt its awesome.

just put all the games and stuff on the big hard drive and you'll do fine, i definitely think its worth it to get one.
