WiFi Router

Go to solution Solved by Trogdor,

You mean the Netgear WNDR4500 right? I had one, they're old and pretty terrible regarding wifi range. I've never used the D-Link but the reviews on Amazon kinda suck.

If I were you I'd forget about both of those and get a TP-Link Archer C5.

Hello,

Guys I have a problem, I can't decide wich router is better. I did some research on both products. First router is D-Link DIR 860L second is Netgear N900. I want to use it in my apartment, size is 75 square meters(807 square feet). My main requirements were Gigabit ports, Dual Band, n or ac standard. D-Link is cheaper and have better throughput and even an ac standard. So I am tempted to buy D-Link but it looks like Netgear have more features, but honestly I don't know if I will even use them. In country where I live I can get D-Link for 62 euros and Netgear for 85 euros. Also I want to apologize for my bad English.

Thanks for replies.

Edit: I forgot to tell you I wanted to have an openwrt or dd-wrt support.
