I have 2 drives on my laptop. I like to keep all of my documents, downloads etc on my D drive and keep C just for programs

I just did a new install of windows 10. The first I do is move the location of my libraries (right click in windows explorer > properties > location > move) to my D drive. However, with one of my libraries (Documents) I accidentally set the move location to D: instead of D:\Documents

This means that everytime I click on Documents, it takes me to my D drive. I would like to move it to D:\Documents, however, when try to move it again it says its not a valid location. I believe this is because Documents is now mapped to an entire hard drive and it cant move a hard drive into a folder

How would I remedy this situation?

I did this once in windows 7 and damned if I can recall how I fixed it. Did you try changing the documents to something on your C drive and then switch it back to your D;/documents again?
