So recently I made a post about some weird bars over my monitor, but when I cap the FPS out at 30, it's not there.

Hard to find last topic when you didn't link it.

 

When limiting your GPU to 30fps, its no doubt NOT under full load, so it won't get as hot, or be as problematic.

 

Is the GPU dirty/dusty or overclocked?

If dirty/dusty, blow job, and remove as much as you can.

Overclocked??>remove it and test.

 

None of the above?

Monitor the GPU with GPU-Z or MSI Afterburner when running games in a window (without the 30fps limit) and see what the stats tell you (or keep an eye on what they state b4 the crash)
