Putting together a cpu loop

Mazune
Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Got it, which pump would you recommend? Also, do you know of decent white tubing? Thanks for taking the time to help lol

The D5 would be the best of the best in terms of watercooling pump with good performance and silence but as said does cost a bit more than say the DDC. For tubing primochill advance LRT stuff is really good, in terms of size that's mainly your choice but thicker walled tubing tends to allow for tighter bends without kinking.

I'm trying to put together a CPU loop, what would you guys suggest?

There's a high chance I'll add the GPU to the loop in a near future. My budget is around $250 USD, can stretch it a bit if necessary.

My pc specs are:

i5 4690k 2x4gb

HyperX 1866mhz

750w EVGA B2

MSI R9 390

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro

So far, I've been considering this:

RAD: http://www.amazon.com/XSPC-EX240-Profile-Copper-Radiator/dp/B0067LW8RY
CPU Block: http://www.amazon.com/XSPC-Raystorm-Block-Intel-Socket/dp/B005T01B54

Reservoir: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0056LRJD4

OR

Pump: Not sure about this one, like at all.

I would get the Phyoba res as long as you can fit that in the case, as for pump a D5 or DDC pump is a good idea, also don't forget about tubing and fittings.

D5 pump is generally the best. DDC pumps are somewhat cheaper, but require a pump top and generate a lot of heat.
