Steam Link thoughts?

So I decided to go ahead and pre-order a Steam Link, cost me just under £50 all in. I loved the concept when they announced it, and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

To anyone who has already received one, what are your thoughts? Also, do you think the Steam Controller is a worthy purchase? I didn't bother with it.
