Nice HTPC case?

So, I am going to resurrect my old PC. He will live in my living-room, connected to my TV.

It's an old machine (Intel Pentium, 7800gt and a ghetto AsRock motherboard) and I have to buy some parts: new CPU cooler, PSU and a case.

A have everything sorted out, besides the chassis.

 

I looked at Fractal Node 605, witch dimensions are ideal (fits perfectly on my shelf), but the price is a little to high.

I haven't found any nice alternatives, maybe you, guys have an idea?

 

Bear in mind, that later on I want to replace old parts, throw a 7770, and i3 in there and turn this thing into a small console.

It has to support microATX motherboards, so I can fit my old one in there.

Anything from Lian-Li is a good choice, might be out of your price range though.

Fractal Design Node 605 is very nice, looks like a Hi-Fi element, it's what I'd put inbetween my Hifi elements if I needed one

 

From what I've seen at my local retailers, the FD 605 is one of the cheapest. These things go up to well over a grand O.o

what about a Silverstone GD05 Black HTPC Case with USB 3.0 , has similar  dimensions , doesn't look as clean as the node 605 tho

A, and guys, we have to stick to the mainstream brands, cose only those are available in my country :<

Apparently silverstone ain't one, none of their HTPC cases are sold here, and shipping form amazon would cost so much, that I could as well buy Node 605 :>

most major brands websites should have a where to buy on it , just need to check it for your local area and it should list suppliers in the region

as a side note , i used noctua fans in both my htpc builds , very good and quite 

nf-b9's and nf-r8's for case fans and nf-a9x14 for cpu cooler fans

Save a little and get the Node 605 :P
