Hi, I just produced one of my first videos on hit film express. The final file is an uncompressed .AVI and I want to encode it in H.264 (1080p 60fps). Encoder encodes it and everything seems to be fine, but, when I open the video to listen to it, after the 5 first seconds the image and sound freezes but the video keeps going on, even tough nothing's happening. The problem is not from hit film has I watched the .AVI and it's working just fine. Could anyone help me please?

If the issue is hardware related:

i7-6700k

asus z-170 A

asus GTX 980 ti STRIX

16 GB DDR4 3000mhz

1 TB Storage

Why don't you just encode it in H.264 using HitFilms, or is it not supported in the express version?

Timeline: Editor

Export Area: Content Area

Codec: Uncompressed

1920x1080

Scale: Keep aspect ratio

Frame rate: 59.9401

Field Type: Non -interlaced (progressive)

Color Depth: RGB

Try encoding with Adobe Media Encoder again, your hardware is more than enough to handle 1080p60 video.  Just take care to make sure you set all the output settings properly.

Also for playback, use VLC.  Does any error messages pop up?

Just found the issue with hitfilm, I had to play around with H.264 rendering settings but now it works :) The level setting was not high enough for the 1080p60, guess that was my beginner mistake ^^' however, I found no solutions for the adobe encoder glitch but I don't need it anymore, at least for now ^^
