What it could be?

I'm having this problem for various months. When it turns on, keeps working with no problems, but sometimes is difficult to turn it on. Yesterday I tried the entire day with no results. Removed it two times and checked the cables, but nothing. Today I turned the PC on normally. The motherboard doesn't have a speaker slot, so I can't hear anything when it happens.

Intel Core2 Quad Q8400

Megaware G41T-M7 (with latest ECS' BIOS)

2x Kingston 4GB DDR3 (KVR1333D3N9/4G)

MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II/OC

Corsair CX430

I was getting BSOD (DirectX related) and TDR, but it doesn't happen since I installed 314.22 driver and disabled 3D Vision.

Try booting up with single stick of RAM. It should boot up easier. Most likely motherboard is preparing for its death.

RAM is not the problem, as sometimes the board doesn't even power up.

I'm facing three aleatory situations:

1. All components turns on, but no video signal. When switching off, the blue power LED keeps active.

2. When pressing power button, only PSU turns on, and the secondary HDD LED.

3. When pressing power button, nothing happens.

I removed the graphics card, but still didn't work (3rd situation). I removed and reconnected front pannel cables and worked, but since I turned it off, 1st situation.

Motherboard, PSU or it can be even the case? (Thermaltake Chaser A21)

No friends nearby you can borrow/replace bits with to fault find? I'm putting down £5 on the motherboard preparing to shit the bed.

I waited some hours to try again and now it says: "The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match the computed checksum."

"BOOTMGR image is corrupt. The system cannot boot."

I probably corrupted Windows by turning it off multiple times, but must be a separated problem.
