Hey Guys,

Just fired up the old AMD-pc (after installing a Corsair H80i). Got image first, but I think I might switched the pump and the fan headers, so the PC just turned off. I thought it was due to heatprotection. After waiting half an hour, still no luck. Can't get any post. Removed the gfx-card and tried mobo-gfx but still nothing. Removed the CPU, but still no post. Swapped memory, still no luck.

So I think the mobo has died, but it could also be the CPU right?

Try mobo first, then try CPU. Sounds like it's more than likely a mobo death, but it could've taken the CPU with it.

So I've got a new mobo and it posts! Only problem is is that my X6 1055t doesn't cool down. When I boot the PC temps skyrockets to 70+ degrees celsius. I've tried it with an Corsair H80i and even had it without any cooling whatsoever. Does this mean the CPU is failing or am I doing something wrong here?
