Something been bugging me lately

Whats up with people lately commenting straight away on a topic saying like "gimme one sec" then editing it a few mins later when they have the spec sheet or comment they wanted to make?

Why not just post when you are ready to post???

Its just like "First" crap all over again.

>short rant over

Hold on a sec.

Edit: Okay I'm back. Some people jsut want to be "first", but they do this at the cost of wasting the OP's time. If you do this, just stop, please(unless if you are just editing a big post or trying to fix something, then thats acceptable).

And yes, I did wait about 5 minutes just for the banter.

Ok I thought about it and I finally have your answer (jk tho this is part of the joke)

I think people do it so they can quickly reply to show the OP that they are working on it so that they will stay and wait a minute instead of leaving the page and coming back an hour later for the answer
