I attempted to upgrade from Windows8.1 to Windows 10 and the system asked me to restart after the files were downloaded. I remember I downloaded the files to a partition of one of my 2 hard drives. I left to computer to run and when I came back it said to plug in a external drive in an error message (my Windows is not English so not the exact wordings)

now the system shows the Windows logo at startup and the dots are spinning underneath, but it can never reach the page to enter password and the same error message shows. I tried unplugging all usb drives except mouse and keyboard. Tried removing the other hard drive and even the DVD Drive. Tried repairing Windows by the original win 8 disc and it didn't work.

Please help me if you can.thank you so much.

that would wipe out all the data in my cocomputer right? I hope I can solve the problem not doing so because I have some really important files. Is there an alternative solution?

you can plug the drive into a different pc and pull the files off but also i think if you install windows with out re formatting your hdd it puts the old windows into a windows.old folder (but i wouldn't do that just in case it dont work

My speakers dont even fit on or under my desk...PA's FTW
