I finally be able to move into my house soon so time to look for new desk. I could say I have budget of $500 to $1000 on the desk. I should say this room going to be painted blue if that helps anyone so yeah. Gamer desk is okay. Looking for something not like a normal office desk because this been discuss this will be my place so plan buying some book cases to fit it with geeky guy stuff all around ranging from movies, videogames, and tv shows, ext.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

i got a desk from big lots that wasnt put together, i did mod it by putting an outlet extender into the back of the desk so i could plug in my charger for my phone and headphones.

UpDesk I have one and its great, now that I have the convenience of racing the desk to any level I want I cant imagine my self with out one. Also its quite the conversation starter when ever I have guest over.  I mean for the money you could go the more affordable route and spend that 1k on more items for the room over all like what you were saying book cases and other things.  Having given my recommendation UpDesk is not for every one and you will regret it if money is tight.

i7 5820k, Asus Deluxe x99 3.1 board, 2 Strix980tis Sli, Intel 480gb SSD, 4T WD Black, Asus PG278Q, Acer xb271hu, UpDesk!

I thought about the UpDesk but to me that was if you were professional needed to do video stuff all the time would make sense. My monitor already adjust it's height and since I never head a issue with what desk I'm at now with the current desk that didn't seem worth spending money on a desk I know I never adjust the height ever. I saw Dxracer had some nice ones maybe any of you know ones from that sight people sell hand made stuff?

I think the main reason people go for the UpDesk is the potential to use it as a standing desk, since sitting for long periods of time is not good for you. Personally, it's the desk I think I'd go for if I was willing to spend that much on a desk.

(Other than that though, I'm afraid I can't be terribly helpful here)
