Hi guys. As the title says. Was wondering what the max safe temperature my 5930k cpu CORE could get up to. I've read around and found out that you should be looking at the core temps and not just the overall cpu temperature and anytime I search for other peoples bench results they seem to only mention the cpu temp not the core.

I clocked mine to 4.5ghz with 1.3v. Using a Corsair 110i GT AIO

in AIDA64 these are my max temps after 1 hr of stress

CPU - 68
Core 1 - 77
Core 2 - 68
Core 3 - 83
Core 4 - 73

IDLE cpu temp - 33-38 degrees

Thanks guys

You're fine up to ~90c.

Technically anything less than 90C should be perfectly save. (But for me personally, I am not happy with more than 80C).

Generally cpu temps are either package or highest core temps.

My personal equilibrium is 62C (infinite amount of time doing Intel XTU, but equilibrium is reached within say 10 minutes) with package temps being the same or 1C higher than the highest individual core.
