problem with pc. need help

i just helped my friend with his computer and his cable management in his pc. i got it all finished and then we tried to turn it on.. there was a little click. but nothing else happened. it didnt turn on. just that little click. we think it came from the PSU. did I fry the motherboard or the PSU?
