PC Bricked

Go to solution Solved by SamNam,

It's fixed now, I don't know what did the trick, but possibly turning off MSI fast boot was a part of it.

I'm trying to move from an hdd to an ssd, so I used windows 8.1 installation disk to install on my ssd. It didn't work, so I accidentily deleted all partitions except for the system and main partition. It idn't change anything so I rebooted. But now every way and combination of boot order, disk, no disk, ssd no ssd, sata 1, 2, I try to boot I get the following error: "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

Please help me.

850 pro ssd btw.

its not bricked, bricked is when the motherboard is killed during BIOS flash

1st. 'Bricked' is not the right word

It certainly sounds like you might have trashed your installation of windows mate. There are always ways of recovering things but that depends on your knowledge with recovering such things.

The easiest option for you would be to re-install a fresh copy of windows but that depends on if you have the windows media and if you know how to do that.
