What gpu?

I'm looking for a gpu, a very value gpu, my max budget is £260 (sorry, I'm from the UK) I was looking at a GTX 970 Twin Frozr but I don't have much money, is there any other gpu that offers better price to performance? I was also looking at the GTX 970.

R9 390 - better DX12 performance, more than double the usable VRAM (8GB vs 3.5GB on the 970) and overall better performance and likely to last longer.
