what are the specs of the pc? did you use tomymac86 to build it? 

Main PC |CPU - i7-6700k|GPU - R9 290x tri-x 4gb|RAM - 16gb ddr4|MOBO - MSI z170 - A PRO|HDD - WD 1TB/240gb Sandisk |PSU - 700w Raidmax

Laptop |CPU - i7 4720hq|GPU - 960m 2gb|Ram - 8gb 2x4|Model - y50-70 Touch|SSD - 240gb Patriot drive|Display - 1920x1080 IPS touch

So, I have Hackintoshed my computer. I am now getting the laggish mouse and the weird GUI bugs. Google Chrome is all screwed  up. Any ideas? I could give further info just ask.

Details about the system? What bootloader? Hardware? Drivers?

tonymacx86 is an okay source to use... But he leaves out a lot of supported hardware on his lists. Use it for the basics (Getting it into the OS), then cross reference other sources for getting drivers up and hardware/software support.

true he leaves out a lot of shit, but it works right? still cheaper than a mac

I have my secondary system, Intel DG45ID, Q9450, 8GBs of Kingston Value RAM, a R9 280 and I have the Clover Bootloader. I used Yosemite Zone by Niresh. EDIT: I have one Kext installed: the VooDoo 2.5.1. 

Core2 Quads don't really have support past OSX 10.7.2... AMD cards are also tricky on OSX. But if you got that working, kudos, cause I never have. :P

I'm not going to argue about the price of a mac, the software pays for itself when you buy a mac. 

But for tonymac, I find the forums are the most useful thing on his site. For example...

Also, I blanked on the fact that it installs as a 7970... Duh....
