Issues launching games, possible hardware issues?

I've been having trouble launching various games via my steam client on my home built computer. My specs are as shown:

Processor    Intel® Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Video Card 1    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Video Card 2    Intel® HD Graphics 4000
Memory    16 GB
Operating System    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

I recently upgraded my power supply, I had a 400 watt power supply and with plans for future upgrades I installed an 850 watt power supply, I reconnected everything and the computer is seemingly functional until I launch any game and it crashes. I tried updating my Nvidia drivers and pushing and clicking in any cords or parts in my computer that may not be fully in, I was able to play video games again until this just started to happen again and fixing it wasn't succesful.

As an added note my USB ports have been acting up for a few months as well as my headphone jack. My USB issues have been happening since before the new PSU. Could I have a faulty motherboard? I highly doubt it because I've been using this thing for a while perfectly. Could I have messed something up during the install of the new power supply? I'm having trouble pin pointing this issue.

Note: Certain games do work.
