ok so i am changing up my room and want a new display.  i have a gtx780 with a small over clock.  i want a 144hz 1ms and 1440p pls help.  under $550

OP, your choices are between the BenQ XL2730Z and the Acer XG270HU. Sadly both support Freesync and not G-Sync. The only other monitor with the specifications you're asking for is the PG278Q like Birderper recommended but it's over your maximum budget.

Don't mention it. If you're able to the PG278Q is definitely worth getting, arguably the best TN currently.
