Are you sure that it's not just the DVD that is damaged?

Yes I am using windows 10.

 

You sure that the optical drive is connected to your SATA ports?

I am sure my optical drive is connected to my SATA ports.

 

Are you sure that it's not just the DVD that is damaged?

The DVD is new.

DOA ODD isn't actually unheard of. Less common than for most other components but still possible. Verify using other disks and RMA it. In the meantime you can get the drivers from the manufacturer website or Windows Updates. Don't download them from anywhere else. A lot of hoaxes out there.

The DVD is new.

If you updated from 7 or 8.1 to 10, revert if you still can and test it!

My ODD stopped working and that fixed it for me!
