Recently our internet has been really patchy and laggy and the ping has been spiking. we usually have 2 laptops and 1 ps3 going at the same time.

a few months ago we could all play fine, now if i try and play battlefield 4 or COD or something my ping spikes (I just got kicked with 1300 ping which was spiking from 35-65).

i was wondering if anyone knows why all of a sudden my connection has gone really poor in the past week or so?

thanks in advance :)

speeds are:

ping 2 - down 98 - up 15

Have other people on your ISP or in your area been having issues lately? Or is it just you with those specific games?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

The other thing I can think of is perhaps you are near the limit for your bandwidth for the month.  Depending on your plan there might be a cap of like 100 GB or 1 TB or something per month, and if you are at or over that they could be cutting your speed steeply.
