Posted October 15, 2015 If you already have one 380 I'd get another one unless you can find someone to buy it from you at a fair price. ------- Current Rig -------
Posted October 15, 2015 2x 380 wins when the game has good Crossfire support, 390 wins when linked GPU support is bad.
Posted October 15, 2015 For the sake of software support and such, the 390. The dual 380s might be better in some benchmarks, but it's not worth the added risks when the 390 is such a good card. Posted October 15, 2015 Unless it is a blower style or watercooled, get the 390. Stacked cards run very hot. Donate your unused computer resources for cancer and other research. Posted October 15, 2015 If you really aren't satisfied with one 380 I'd sell it and buy a 390. Don't ask to ask, just ask... please sudo chmod -R 000 /*
Posted October 15, 2015 After owning a crossfire setup for 2 years, I can say in my experience its not worth the hassle. I sold both cards for a r9 390 and have had trouble free gaming since. CPU - FX-8350 / GPU - r9 390 / RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance / Storage - Samsung Evo 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD / Case - Fractal Design R5 / PSU - Corsair HX750i / MOBO - ASRock Extreme4
 A 290 should be the minimum for Xfire unless you upgrading resolution Xfire or SLI is pointless especially since it's low end cards SetupCPU: i3 4160|Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE|RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue 8GB(2x4GB)|GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB|PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO 620W Modular|Storage: 1TB WD Blue|Case: NZXT S340 Black|PCIe devices: TP-Link WDN4800| Montior: ASUS VE247H| Others: PS3/PS4
 Posted October 15, 2015 I once sold a 7970 for two 7950s. That was worth it. But I would suggest just a single 390 or even a 390x. Donate your unused computer resources for cancer and other research.
