Does it mess with speeds? I play CSGO pretty competitively so I need a really reactant mouse would an extra 5 feet of wire slow down the reaction time? Same for the keyboard and Displayport? I have an 8 foot desk that I originally had plans to set up my desktop and 4 laptops on which fit perfectly.. Until I rebuilt my computer because while my disgustingly poor built machine deserved to sit on the floor my current work of art demands to be displayed and I have it sitting right in the middle of my desk stretched across it leaving no space for a single laptop to fit and my wires are too short to put it on the far side (it's an L shaped desk made the main set up to be perfectly in the corner), I'd take a picture but this isn't a set up thread, totally not because of the mountain of garbage..

I honestly don't think it adds any lag. If anything, it would add very little lag to the point where you would barely notice it. I wouldn't worry about it.
