Hello community of Linustechtips !

I am an newcomer and for my first topic i would like to deploy my recent problem with my Corsair H100i GTX AIO cooler !

It is not malfunction ! it is not bad or anything its just an problem i ran into customising my AIO cooler !

One day i was finishing work and i went to my local pc retailer who sells various components and i bought myself some 2x Static Pressure Noctua fans to replace the stock Corsair SP120 fans
i was so happy i did all cable management perfectly and stuff so as i took off the stock sp fans i put them aside and inserted the mighty Noctuas to cool down my AIO Radiator !

This was a week ago , as i suddenly came home from work today I started my pc and wanted to play some video games like Gta V , but as I saw something VERY unusual on my windows notification area it sayd , the driver has malfunctioned , now as i found the problem came from my h100i , i reinstalled the drivers and it works BUT !

Here is the BUT , as the program controls the pump , it does not control non corsair fans ! , and i was playing gta v today and my Noctua fans stopped , I had no idea what to think if its good or bad ! as soon as they stopped they restarted ! i have no idea why they are stopping and starting ! im worried for my cpu !

i have an z97x chipset and on my motherboard near the cpu i have 2 fan headers ! one for the CPU and other called CPU OPT , i do have a cross fan cable that divides the fan headers into 2 so i can plug into my CPU OPT but will it work at 100pourcent all time or is there any program to modifiy the rpm?

So the person who could save me is to help me how could i control my noctua fans on the AIO cooler !

i idle at 24 degrees and i max on gta v at 39 45 degrees

As far as I know it shouldn't matter which brand of fans you have on there so long as they're connected to a 4-pin pwm header. If that is truly why it is not working, then you should just be able to connect the 4-pin header directly into the mobo (or a fan controller) and control them via the mobo.
