About 2 months ago I updated to Win 10 from 8.1 on my Gaming Rig, I kept all my data too.

I  also have a laptop too that used to be my gaming machine besides that also as a school computer and I still run 8.1 there and wanna upgrade to Windows 10. I have a OS 250GB SSD, 250GB mSATA SSD for games and Samsung 1tb 5400 rpm HDD for music and other junk. I have a lot of games and other junk there that I dont need to have on it and I would like to know if the win 10 upgrade has a clean install option and if I can also make it to wipe all drives. Does the clean install also wipe my registry even when the other games, that I have to delete manually, on the other drives still exist (probably is the case, but still wanna ask just to be safe)? I will just reformat the other ssd and HDD too. There are just some few files that I need to copy on a USB drive. If there is something else I need to know about that procedure, please tell me!

thanks in advance!

I just did a clean install for Windows 10 after running an upgraded version of Win 7 Pro 64 bit for several months. This of course means I have Win 10 Pro 64 bit. It runs much better with the clean install. Consider things like booting using UEFI when installing your OS.

This link runs a clean install since you already have Win 10. Click on upgrade this PC now. It gives you several choices. You can save your files, settings only or nothing. You don't need to run an .iso DVD or USB drive for this method.
