Sennheiser IE 80

I am currently shopping around for some in-ear earphones for around £200 ($300) and was wondering if anyone owns the Sennheiser IE 80's, as I am potentially interested in purchasing some.

I'm looking for ear phones with clear and detailed sound, with also strong bass and clear mids.

Do the Sennheiser IE 80's match these requirements? Or are there other in-ear earphones which do?

What you hear may be different then what I hear. I have owned 2 pairs, I keep one as my partable drivers and I keep a spare incase my others bust for whatever reason. I think they sound great with mids and highs but lack in the base dept. They are super clear, crisp and have a very full sound for in ears. Aside from the base being just tight I dont think they will give you what you are looking for as far as "strong" I was on the hunt for a long time trying lots of inears in that price range and only kept the Sennies which does say a lot. frankly from my experience and this is talking about my taste in sound...nothing came close.
