Playing CS:GO problems.

Ive just recently started player CS:GO again and ran into a problem when trying to play with my brother in the same house. When we start a lobby and start the game, only one of use join and the other gets a message saying the leader left and they are the new leader, and they don't join the game. I have a feeling that it has something to do with our IP's but i'm not sure.

This is both on separate accounts correct? I have played fine on the same WIFI with other people so im not sure why this is happening to you, if you could give some more details about it maybe i can help.

Different accounts, he has a laptop and i have a desktop, same internet connection, I have wired he is wireless. not sure much else I can say

 if you have wired and he has wireless than it shouldnt be a IP problem

Might be an issue with the router.

The router certainly isn't a bad router. It could be some setting that i have turned off or don't have properly set up though.

Maybe, me and my brother had the issue you're having but once we upgraded our broadband to faster download and upload and the router itself changed I can't say for certain.
