i was using some random stress tester to test my system for stability, and my cpu spiked 99 degrees about 3-4 times, then i turned it off, it was about 75 degrees avg, with 99 degree spikes, which happened 3-4 times basically. my question is would this have damaged my cpu in any way shape or form. life reduction, silicone damage, thermal paste conductivity made worse?

probably not. They can take very short heat spikes of temperatures like that. If it was over 105 I might worry but if not probably fine.

i was using msi afterburner to watch temperatures, cap seems to be 100 degrees, idk if it was legit 99 degrees or was it higher... this is worrying, i hope its fine

Dont use Prime95 for stabilty testing, that could hurt your cpu. Otherwise you are probably fine.

im never using prime95 ever again lol.
