Hello there! I made a little list of parts for a desktop pc I've been wanting to build.

I'm a college student working part-time in Turkey and I've been saving some $ for this build for almost a year now. I've been using a modest desktop pc (currently running a gtx 760) for almost 4 years now. It runs most games well but I want to be able to experience games to their fullest. I don't have a strict budget, I'd rather wait for my next paycheck and go overboard than buy it asap and be unsatisfied in 1-2 years. My biggest concern is the power supply, using the cooler master wattage calculator gave me 503 W. I chose a 650 W PSU but as I'm somewhat inexperienced I can not be sure.

Most if not all of the parts in this list will be bought in Germany(using Amazon). The monitor, OS and peripherals are not listed as I already have them. I'll use Wİndows 10 Education (upgrade from home licence), Logitech G930(probably gonna buy a wired headset as soon as it fails), Razer Anansi and Razer Deathadder Chroma. For the monitor I'll go with a single Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor and in a month or two get a second one.

I will use this computer mainly for gaming. I want to play all the latest (GTA V, Witcher 3, Arkham Knight etc.) games in 1080p with the best settings possible. I don't plan on streaming but I can get into some video editing but nothing hardcore.

The heaviest load I can imagine is Having WoW or HotS running on one screen and CiV5 on the other with Chrome, Skype, Foobar2000 running in the back. I went with a rather small capacity SSD since the only things I'd prefer to have installed on it would be the OS itself, WoW, HotS and some other programs(I'm not yet sure which programs I'm supposed to prioritize for this as I haven't owned an SSD yet).

I never built a PC from scratch but I've been fiddling with them a lot(changed a lot of parts, moved everything to a new case) and I'm confident in myself building it. However I'm worried if my friend has a hard time carrying all the parts with himself. Would it be safer/easier to assemble it in Germany and take it here via plane(it's a ~3 hours flight). The problem I have with that is if something goes wrong with the assembly I have no way of taking it to the person who did it. I'm also worried with the customs. I'll figure these out myself but I'd really appreciate your comments and suggestions regarding the parts.

Sorry for the bad grammar and the wall of text :)

Is EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID Video Card not available?

You might consider going with a 2x8GB memory kit. Unless you are working with large editing/modeling projects 32GB is overkill. Most games will not need more than 6GB.

The EVGA 120-G1-0650-XR is not a particularly good psu. Spend a little more and get something like SeaSonic SSR-650RM, XFX P1-650X-XXB9, or EVGA 110-B2-0750-VR.

Get the largest ssd your budget will allow. They fill up quickly :) .

The case is large and reasonably heavy. You may want to consider something a little smaller like the 450D or perhaps an mATX build.

i would get the following card instead:

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Classified ACX 2.0+

keep in mind, it's going to require 301w without overclocking enabled. you will need a bigger psu. with the 6700k along with this card, i would get an 850w psu. 750 at the minimum.

@brob I was feeling the same about the ram as well, will change it. Do you think I'll benefit a ton from the 6700 CPU? Should I go for the 6600 and save ~$100?

@BigDay Is there a huge difference in performance between the Hybrid brob mentioned and the Classified you linked?

Thank you all for your time!

In gaming the difference between i7 and i5 is marginal. However, if you do any video editing or streaming the i7-6700k offers noticeably better performance.

The Classified will have a higher overclock. The hybrid will tend to run cooler and a little quieter. If you do decide on the Classified, I would suggest going with a 750W psu.
