Hm is there a way to rid the smf part? Can I not have it redirect from net to /smf?

Put the content in the public_html folder directly.

issue with that is I get a 404

EDIT: Its all working for me just need to change config to allow the site to access the CSS and such

Install it using softaculous. get to softaculous from your cpanel.

I did and that didn't work. It refused to install. How do I enable the css?

It installed but the it kept redirecting me to a certain website and I couldn't even login to the thing. The CSS wasn't working for it either.

You did set the login info when installing.. right?

Yeah I set everything up. It kept redirecting me to an myatt website. also it didn't even go through the install process with me. It kept going straight to the site. It didn't even let me setup the database
