Hi guys, so I'm currently using a LG 19" 1080p TV as my monitor (didn't have money at the time and I recieved it for free). Now that I have some money I wish to buy a new display for my PC (will buy probably between mid october or end of december).

I have a i7 4790k and a G1 Gaming GTX 970 and play games like League of Legends, WoW, Guild Wars 2, Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm, Battlefield 4, Sims 4, FIFA 16, Witcher 3, etc.

I would like a monitor that has vesa mount because I'm thinking of keeping the old LG TV and use it as a secondary monitor and mount both of them mounted in a single stand. For size I think 27" could do good and I'll rahter get and IPS rather than a TN for the better colour and viewing angles. The things I'm not sure about are if I should go for 1080p or 1440 and about getting G-sync on my monitor.

So I'll like to spend 700€ max and I'm shopping from Spain.

If you want the premium tier option it's the Acer XB270HU at the moment - though it's €750 because of Gsync and being the only 144Hz 1440P IPS monitor available (for now).

I would wait til closer to Christmas to see what offers come around as that's still expensive, even if it were in your budget.

I would recommend the Dell U2515H for €350 as the best 1440P price/performance monitor - though it's 25".

If you feel the need to, the U2715H is the 27" version - but it is around €539. Which is a massive price increase for not a lot more product.

I've been looking at that Acer monitor before, saw some reviews and it seems nice

I have a sofa 2m away from the pc and was thinking 27" may be better if I wanted to watch a movie or a stream while laying down on it. It can't be bigger than 27 because it can be a pain when using the pc while sitting on the chair (I suppose). Maybe 25" can do the job, but I don't know. Any advice on this?

If you play newer games it will be a bit hard to get 144 fps on 1440p.

Well, newest game I have my sights on is Fallout 4, Now days I'm playing indie games, some older titles and I think the most demanding thing right now on my pc may be Witcher 3.

So  a 1080p 60MHz with no gsync or a 1440 60MHz with no gsync?
