So i am actually building a small home server. I have an intel Pentium C2020 and a asus p8H77 - I mobo. 8 Gigs of a - data XPG Ram, I am testing it and the computer wont post. I have already sent back a doa cpu because of this problem now i need to know what the problem is. Could it be the ram, I dont have any more at home though, so i dont know what to do.

Reset the CMOS and try the ram in a different PC.

Hey man, try using 4 gb's of the ram instead of the 8gb's.

I did reset the cmos, but i dont have another pc to try the ram in...

It would be weird if both ram stick came broken, the CPU has been RMA'd and the CMOS has been reset... I can only think that the whole board is faulty or it's the PSU (check connectors)
