Yo guys.

I opened a topic earlier today. And i got me some more questions.

Pc specs

CPU: i5-4690

gpu: AMD Radeon HD 7790

PSU: 500W Cooler Master GX Lite

Operating system windows 7 64bit

So. We came to the conclusion to buy either a R9 390 or the 390X

The thing is now. Whats a better choice. I think a 390x because it isnt that much more expensive. But if i buy that one do i need a new PSU too? And if so, do I need a 550/600/650/700/750 WATT PSU? I wont buy a 980/980ti because i think is wasting money. Like you can buy 2x the 390/390x to crossfire for about the same amount of money. I am not thinking about crossfiring.

Thanks for the help.

I'd honestly go with a 750W PSU in your scenario.

I did that so I had future expansion room, like when I order a R9 390 later this year

Any PSU suggestions. I had a G2 superNOVA 750W suggested earlier

That's quite a good PSU. I'd say go for it :D

I would upgrade PSU even if i would get the 390. The GX if im not mistaken not very high end.

650w would be enough for both cards. EVGA Supernova 650w G2 is recommended.

I can vouch for the Corsair AX760i, although it's very expensive. Just go with 650/750w PSU from tier one or two in this list:

Can vouch for the g2 550w, used it for a while and never had any issues with it.

Higher frame rate over higher resolution.

Alternatively - the SeaSonic G-series 650W - also good if not better.
