CCTV PC software

I have CCTV set up at my house / business, and I have an app on my phone called droidguard which I can use to monitor it. However, I would like to monitor my CCTV from my computer while gaming / working ect. Anyone know of a good programme? 

 

 

Also the OS installed on the DVR seems pretty slow and doesn't seem very modern. I'm going to switch out the harddrive for a WD purple and thought i'd upgrade the OS too but can't find any good OS's for CCTV. Anyone know of any?
